Michael Bates is compassionate and dedicated to providing zealous advocacy for every client he represents. Mr. Bates takes great pride in his efforts for his clients and his passion for the pursuit of justice is undeniable.
Attorney Michael Bates is a native of St. Louis, Missouri where he grew up with four sisters. He graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia with a Bachelor’s in Political Science. Michael continued his education at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, where he graduated with Honors. During his time in law school, he was a member of the Student Bar Association, the Vice President of the Black Law Student Association and served as a Student Attorney for his law schools Pro Bono Criminal and Juvenile Lifers Clinics. Since becoming an attorney, Mr. Bates has represented clients in multiple areas of law, including but not limited to personal injury, family and criminal defense.
When not practicing law, Michael enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. He also enjoys watching sports, especially football.
